Hello Anneshelly.  It is lovely to hear from you and we are looking forward to you coming to stay with us.  We have some good friends who we have known for a long time that live on the Gold Coast and are also from Taiwan.

I will let you know a little bit about us.  In our family is Troy and myself (Tanya) and Jake the dog.  We have four children who are grown up, two sons (Christopher and Adam)  aged 31 and 28 and two daughters (Emily and Jordie) aged 26 and 22.  Our youngest daughter Jordie went to All Saints Anglican School and so we have hosted many students through the school. 

Our dog Jake is a black and tan dachshund and he loves people – he is very friendly and will be very excited that you are coming to stay.

Troy is a policeman and I work in a big Bank as a business analyst. We live in Broadbeach which is close to the beach and Pacific Fair (Pacific Fair is a major shopping centre) and Surfers Paradise.  We have a swimming pool so I am glad that you like to swim.

I understand that you are shy and you must feel a bit anxious coming to stay away from your family in a different country.  Please know that we are very friendly and will be very welcoming to you and will do everything we can to make sure that you settle in and feel at home.  Your English is very good and we can practice this with you when you are here.  We have set up your own bedroom for you which has its own bathroom and a desk for studying. 

We do not have many house rules and we can talk about this when you arrive. For starters we just ask that you:

• always make sure that if you go out with your friends that you are home before it is dark and you let us know where you are and who you are with;
• speak with us if there is anything at all worrying you;
• let me know if there is any foods you don’t like or foods that you prefer; and
• if you don’t understand anything please ask questions and tell us that you don’t understand.

You are very welcome to leave our luggage with us when you go to Tasmania.  Just let me know when you will be coming and we can organise this.

收到回信真是太令人開心啦！

我媽一開始還很擔心寄宿家庭會不會因為我寄信然後不爽。(這邏輯詭異的連陳小黑都不會懂)

然後寄宿家庭竟然有泳池，那就不用擔心還要跟學校問可不可以放學留校游了。

Tanya 還說我是有自己的房間，並且裡面有單獨的浴室 哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈(爽死)

接下來就等入住後看空閒時間介紹房間啦~
